Recall Announced For 2003 Sequoia Due to Stability Control Problem

Toyota motor corp. has been into some problems from the past few months, the company has not yet came out of the recall for accelerator’s problem and now this news has been flashed that the company is going to recall thousands of 2003 Sequoia SUVs because of some stability control problems. According to reports this recall would be covering 50,000 of the SUV models that were produced in 2003. Actually the problem of stability control activated at slow speed and then limits the vehicle to accelerate.
The problem was encountered by many auto mobile experst and consumer reports have suggested people not to buy these SUVs and this is the major reason that makes Toyota to recall Sequoia. While discussing about this issue Steve St. Angelo, Toyota chief quality officer for North America stated that “Toyota is committed to investigating customer complaints more aggressively and to responding quickly to issues we identify in our vehicles. As a result, we are voluntarily launching this recall to ensure that as many 2003 Sequoias as possible are serviced to the full satisfaction of our customers”. The company is strongly working on the improvement of its models and brings them all completely up to the customer’s expectation and sooner the problem of this SUV will be getting solved.
