When you purchase a new car, you probably have a lot of questions running through your mind. How much is it going to cost? What it is it’s primary purpose? Can I afford the insurance? You get the idea and we’re not going to talk about the decisions you’ll need to make buying a new car today. Instead, we’re going to focus on one important issue that is proving to be more popular with each passing year. This is the question of what type of engine you should be looking for in your new vehicle. Make no mistake this is a crucial question and a decision that should not be taken lightly. You might think that the answer is obvious. It’s a hybrid, right? After all, they’re friendly to the environment; they get a lot more miles and they’re quite cheap. But don’t be so sure because there are disadvantages of the hybrid that you might have overlooked. On this post, we’ll review each, in turn, looking at the advantages and disadvantages of these options. Let’s start with the most commonly confused term, the hybrid engine.

Imagine the following scenario. You decide that you need to go in your car and drive somewhere. You start walking up to your car but you discover something. One of your tyres is flat! It’s the bane of any motorist’s life.
